    Sports Bra

Do you wear sports bras underneath your Tri suit?
I am doing my first triathlon in May. I finally worked up the courage to buy a Tri suit. I have a somewhat large chest and there is no way that the little shelf bras in any Tri suits that I saw would support my chest on the run.
I worry that a sports bra that offers ultra support for running will be way too constricting during the swim, however.
    Any tips / suggestions?

I'm gifted up top, so I have to wear a bra under my tri top. I can wear the same bra that I wear for running in tris without extra constriction. My advice is to find the thinnest/moisture wicking/supportive bra you can find. You don't want a thick cottony type bra that will hold a lot of water. Practice swimming in it and then running right after a swim to get a feel. Use body glide under the bra band to prevent chafing (I always chafe on the band under the cups for some reason- might be just me).
Best of luck to you, and welcome to TE.

I bought both the tri top with shelf bra, and a tri bra (that those little people can wear by itself!). I wear them both, and it seems to be a good combo. The tri bras are NOT the most supportive, however. But by the time you put the tight tri top over it, the girls are where they belong.

I'm a 30F, so there's no running (or cycling for that matter) without some extra support. I like the Shock Absorber brand level 4. It's made of synthetic fabric so it dries quickly enough and it keeps the girls from bouncing up and giving me black eyes. If you're anything about a B or so those shelf liners in tri-suits are bloody useless!
