Your bike shop, Estrella, is mentioned in an article appearing in the February issue of Mountain Bike Action.

Brian Roberts, a featured MBA rider who inspires, beat the odds in a serious head injury while riding his mtb. He is back in the saddle, thanks in part to Estrella. Here's an excerpt from the article:

Brian always had the most fun aboard his mountain bike and realized his best friends were his riding friends. Today, he lives outside Phoenix, Arizona, has started racing competitively again, and for the first time in his life, is a member of a mountain bike team.

"I'm so excited about my new team," boasts Brian. "It's a new shop called Estrella Mountain Cyclery in Goodyear, Arizona. It's a true family run shop and everyone is really down to earth."
    Woot!

Thanks Sun, yes we have that article framed in the shop. Brian - aka "Harv" is one of the coolest people I know.
We were stoked when we found out we were going to be in a national mag. Brian INSISTED that they mention the shop- and that he wear our jersey in the photo.
BTW- if any of you are ever in the area, I'd love to show you the FINS trails. They are great!
Tonight is the TnR - or thursday night ride- that Harv hosts. They clip in at Harvs garage at 6:30 pm sharp, and head out for a couple of hours of riding. And then they meet up back in the garage for beer, darts, and bench racing.
I don't do the ride, but I try to bring dinner for the "after party".

    Thanks again for the mention.

That's AWESOME!!!! Seems like a cool guy. It's great to get good press in a national publication. I wish you were closer to me: you'd be my favorite LBS for sure.
