How do you deal with getting sick?

So this was supposed to be my first real week of training after the last few months of getting back in shape after my son Zeph was born in November.

On Wednesday I came down with a bug that meant missing a few workouts. Today I'm feeling mostly better and I may try to get in easy workouts today and Sunday.

How do you adjust your training plans when you get sick? I have a long time (16 weeks till the first triathlon), but with little kids in the house, I may catch something else between now and then.

Or anything you do to support your immune system? Thanks!!

If my body says NO I listen to it. I've found that it takes longer to get back up to speed if I try pushing myself when I'm sick. If I have something minor I keep going, but some things just kick your butt and you just have to back off.
