My hubby uses a Hydrotail and has never had a bottle launched. He hasn't tried putting frozen bottles in it yet though, so I can't attest to that.

@Urlea, helps, because I don't ride in cold enough weather to freeze my bottles/I don't freeze them in hot weather (never occurred to me so far).
