WTB: Boys Shorts and Jersey

I have a little boy who is turning 9 in just over a week. I'd like to set him up with some biking clothes. He's "husky", probably a size 10-12. If you just have a jersey, or just shorts to part with that is fine also!

Could he wear a men's small or medium? I have a pair of shorts and a jersey, inexpensive ones, that I'd be willing to part with. The jersey is rather plain, dark blue.

My son, 13, wore them year before last, maybe once or twice.
