I've ridden the PMC the past 4 years. Because I retired this year and won't have as much income, I couldn't commit to doing a 2 day ride. I'll be volunteering 2 days, and just doing a 47 mile ride the last day of the week-end.

BUT, today I learned that I wouldn't be riding alone. My daughter and daughter-in-law are going to ride with me! DIL is almost my size, so she can use one of my bikes. My daughter is 4 inches taller than me, so that might not work. Maybe if I get her a longer stem and an extra long seat post. I'm really excited about this, it makes up for not doing the full ride.

That sounds like fun, Jean. Where is the 47 mile ride?
Someday, I will do this. But, the fund raising seems daunting and riding in that crowd scares me...
