I'm not a diligent leg-shaver at all, and in the winter, I have to ask: "What's the point?" I have at least one, usually two or three, layers atop my legs. Plus that extra hair is insulating, right?
By "routinely," I mean even if you don't anticipate anybody seeing your legs any time soon. Wearing of skirts or other leg-revealing clothing would, of course, necessitate some leg-hair deforestation.

Waxing hurts, but stays smooth longer and it grows back finer (for me anyway).


(I was in the mountains for a month with no razor) To this day, I can imagine how it felt and it freaks me out a little each time.
