    Thank You Gods of Weather!

Dear Gods of Weather, thank you for the lovely spring day yesterday after so many days below 33! It was nice to ride outside again. Do you think you could bring on spring a little sooner? I know I am contributing to global warming, will that help?

I'm with you, Mistie. This morning was my first outdoor ride in awhile due to either ice or lack of gumption when it comes to layering and eventually, getting cold.

Unfortunately, this was a short-lived thaw. The cold front is arriving as I type this.

    Think EARLY SPRING.

I'm right there with you! I picked up my new MTB on Thursday, and the LBS guy stated that I should head up to the trails to break her in since Friday was supposed to be so nice...um, he forgot to notice that the trails are CLOSED because of the past freezing and muddy conditions...thank goodness I didn't take him up on the suggestion without checking the trail's website first!

I WANT TO RIDE, Mr. Weather! I just don't want to be soggy or make a mess out of my car when I get back from a trail...is that too much to ask?!?!? C'mon SPRING!

Yesterday was beautiful! But alas, I did not ride. I worked in the yard, something that I've been wanting to do for months! It was good. Today, it's back to 20F.

Friday was beautiful, and I spent the day stuck at work. I only knew it was beautiful because I walked to another building at one point. I wish it had stuck around!

Saturday, freezing again. This was a requirement, though--it was our Girl Scout's annual trip to an indoor pool and it never fails that the weather is always well below freezing for this trip, just to make us all miserable as we leave the building.
