    2 Day Event in California?

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I am in Southern California and we have some friends who are trying to convince us to do Seattle to Portland in July, a 2 day 200 mile ride. One of them is from the area and has done this ride before. However, they are open to doing a similar ride that is closer. Does anyone know of anything like that in California? I figured that surely there must be one in Solvang, but all I am finding there are centuries and double centuries and then it skips to 3 day tours up to 8 days. How about 2 days?!

    Anyone???

Only thing I can think of is something like the MS Society's Waves to Wine ride, 2 days, from SF to the wine country.

Thanks Sarah. That could be an option.

The American Lung Association of Santa Barbara and Ventura County sponsors the 3 day "Breathe Easy Ride" - I think it will be in late June this year. It starts in Solvang on a Friday - each day is a 50 mile ride (or less if you prefer) and you spend Friday and Saturday nights at Midland School at the base of Figueroa Mountain. ( across the road from Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch). I've done this ride many times - it is really fun and the rides in the Santa Ynez Valley are beautiful. I hope to be there this summer with DH! Tokie

There is the Seismic Challenge in October through the North Bay. October is one of the best months in NorCal.
