abiquiu area: advice needed

Hey ladies: I'm going to be in Abiquiu for about a week to play in a chamber music festival this summer. As a Texan I ride in the hot summer ok so that shouldn't be a problem, but am excited to have an opportunity to ride in a totally new place. Any ideas? Is anybody from that area or have any experience in that area? Oh, am a road biker.

Abiquiú (pronounced /ˈæbɨkjuː/), or Ha'ashgizh in Navajo), is a small unincorporated town located in Rio Arriba County, in northern New Mexico in the southwestern United States, about 53 miles (85 km) north of Santa Fe.
