Kookaburra Wash - for woolens & such

Hi wool weenies & others -

I've been using Kookaburra Wash on my woolens for a few weeks now, and it's great stuff.



My woolens come out very soft, and with a very faint and pleasant smell of pine. And while a bottle of the stuff is pricey, a little goes a very long way.

Anyhow, just thought I'd let you know about it. I bought mine from Rivendell, but it's also available online from the Kookaburra website, and a few dealers.

My DH absolutely always washes all his wool stuff in Kookaburra. He dislikes the smell of Woolite and other 'gentle' soaps. To us the Kookaburra smells lightly of lavender...in a good way, not an old lady way.

I like my Woolite just fine, he's devoted to his Kooka. Together, we're clean and warm.

Just curious, does he use the Kookaburra Delicate? I'm only asking because that contains lavender oil, while the Wash doesn't appear to. Although my woolens do smell a bit lavender-ish now that you mention it. It's really faint though, not at all off-putting to me -- I really dislike perfumey-smelling things.

But what's really remarkable is how soft my woolens come out.

He uses the WASH, the one that says with Tea Tree oil. Maybe it's the tea tree oil that reminds me of lavender?
I do notice that it doesn't seem to list 'all' the ingredients though.
It is nice because the aroma is very subtle on the clothes.

I think that's the most hilarious product name i've heard in a longgggg time!

I just can't associate a nice wash with a real Kookabura . Perhaps because I hear & see them every day..

Maybe they mean you can use it for washing Kookaburras.
