    Hi,

I am wondering, if anybody else has or had this experience... I am a biker, bike a lot between 100 - 150 miles a week, I also do Pilates 2 x a week and Yoga 2 x a week mainly for stretching and I guess for other thinngs... what I experience is, my hamstring muscle are always stiff, wondering, is it to much stretching?

The professional PTs might chime in later but from an amateur perspective,

could be overuse, overload, contracted muscle fibers, trigger points.
I find forward bends (over)done in yoga, with ambition, leave my hamstrings sore and that means micro-injuries.

In other muscles, I have trigger points. Stretching does not help, might even make it worse. But trigger point release might.

It's a little secret you didn't know about us women. We're all closet Visigoths.

Thanks, I guess I just overdid it, and I know how I train, harder than my body maybe want in my high age ha ha ha...so I have to back off a little bit it is easier said than done.
