    T-Ebay Wanted Thread (11/7/08)

I thought that if we are going to do another "online yard sale," it might make sense to have a "wanted" section in conjuction with the sale, since we are going to be going through our spare parts bins anyway.

Someone may want something that you have and aren't using, but didn't think to post for sale.

    Looking again at road bikes...

So I am in the market for an under $1000 road bike... I am 5'6 but have a longer reach than most wsd bikes. So maybe a men's frame would fit me better... I know I should probably go to the lbs but I thought I'd throw it out there, to see what's out there.
I can do five more miles.

Oooh, this is a cool idea. I do have a lot of stuff laying around, and don't feel like organizing it for a listing, but if someone specifically requests an item I have I would definitely respond!

    I'll bite!

Is anyone looking to sell any...
    -PowerGrips
-panniers (I don't have any and have never had any before, so I don't really know what I'm looking for specifically yet)
    -or (long-shot) a BOB trailer?

The powergrips and panniers would be for me, the BOB would be for my boyfriend who is dying to buy one but is waiting for a while to see if he can get a deal so I figured I'd go out on a limb and ask here.

    Thanks!

I'm looking for shifters - 9 speed trigger preferably but road ones fine as well. I'm building up a commuter, so it doesn't have to be high level.

I have a Terry Butterfly saddle - in fact, I might even have two of them.

I am really busy tonight, so let me find them and I will then PM you with the details and prices ASAP.

Hope I can help you out!

    Thanks,

    Lynette

Thanks, Lynette. I actually tried the Butterfly and it's too wide. The Fly is narrower, a men's saddle actually. Thanks though!

    light

Maya, would you be interested in a set of Cateye Double shots? http://www.cateye.com/en/product_detail/256

I don't have the handlebar mount any longer(stolen off my Ian's bike) but do have the helmet one. I'm sure that in the US it'll be easy peasy to get a handlebar mount...

I'm not going to use the double shots anymore as we've replaced all of our lights with Ay-ups.

    C
