My daughter is running her first marathon today. I have not been able to leave the computer, I'm glued to her splits. I know she is very worried about the hill the last mile, and she looks like she is tiring. Hang in there, Libs!

Thank you, she did just finish at 4:27:59. She had to stop to stretch and walk out some cramps. She was disappointed with her time, hoping for 4 hours even, but she is glad she was able to finish.
I did that one 20 years ago. Her time might be affected by the enormous crowd, and not being able to go at her own pace until the crowd thins out. After the starting gun went off, I didn't even cross the starting line for six minutes!
