    24 Hour Fitness Classes

For anyone who belongs to 24 hour fitness, are there any classes that you really like? I've only tried 24Cycle and Zumba, both which I attend regularly. I'm looking for some new ones to check out! How's 24 S.E.T.? Good workout?

I haven't belonged to a 24 Hour Fitness for several years but I LOVED Body Pump. (Choreographed weight lifting to peppy music).

Come to think of it, that's why I left. They discontinued Body Pump and replaced it with Rebock Rep, dull, dull, dull.

My current gym had Body Pump for a few years, then replaced it with Group Power, but they're the same thing really. Fun class, vigourous workout, and the hour flies. Probably 24 has dumped Rebock Rep by now and gone back to Body Pump or something similar. It's a hoot.

Only problem: Wear ear plugs or your hearing will be damaged.

yeah, nothing with those names is being taught right now. guess i'll just have to stop being lazy and go try them out!! I've tried a couple classes that have just really been boring, so I hate wasting that hour.

What is Zumba like? They have it at the Y here and I think Bally's has it.

I am not real good with group exercise. I think the last time I went was a Body Pump class.

I saw Zumba and Pilates on the Y schedule, I took Pilates as a part of Phys Therapy after my knee surgery and liked it for the most part. It was pretty challenging.

it takes a few times to get the moves down (Zumba), but it's a lot of fun. You don't need to focus on getting everything perfect, just get moving and have some fun! I generally try not to look in the mirror and dance to my hearts content!
