I think I finally came up with a handle for myself how does 'roadrunner' sound.
I tend to prefer my road bike and I used to go jogging till I got tendonitits!!
I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts folks.

I have started a web page with the help of my son (bless him).

    Margaret -
Your url does show up now - but you have to click on your name, then select View Margaret's homepage. If you also want your web page to show at the end of your posts (like mine does), you need to add it to your signature. Click User CP, then edit signature. Then you can use the url button (the globe with a link on it) to add your web page to your signature.

I don't know how (or if) you can change your name. I think you may need the help of our fearless web master to do that!

margaret: ask jeff or susan (the TE admins) jeff helped Bike Goddess change her user id after everyone started calling her BG instead of using her real name! and I Love the roadrunner ID.....especially since I live in a state heavily populated by them! I've got one that hangs around the bike path and comes out at night on my way home and plays keeper of the bridge with me!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

I'll do that. I'm glad you like the name I thought I was a bit dull since you all have great nicknames. I just love roadrunners. You're really lucky seeing one so often. We don't have them over here unless you count the roadrunner & Willie Coyote cartoons!!

I can't take credit for the trailer - the bike is a Bike Friday Air Glide, and all of Bike Friday's bikes fold into suitcases that can then be used as a trailer. It's a very cool way to travel with a bike - no airline excess baggage charges - and in spite of the little wheels the bikes feel great, no compromise at all between big-wheeled bikes and Bike Fridays!

On the web site front - my web site was really easy. I used www.register.com both to register and to host my site. I use their WebSiteNow! product, and they have a number of templates you can use to build your site. There are lots of sites out there that offer this type of service / tool if you're interested.

    Good name, Margaret!

I need a new one too. 'Audio A' is what they refer to my studio at work, so I answer the phone, "Audio A, can I help you?" Not very original, is it

Great name! I like it. I want to change mine, too, either KkAllez or Glass Coyote. (My stained glass business is called Coyote Glass Works). I just haven't had time to pursue a name change.

I like 'Glass Coyote' I get that one. What does the KkAllez refer to? I know Allez in French means 'hurry' I don't know if I'm on the right track there though.

My initials are KK and my bike is a Specialized Allez Sport. I think allez means 'go'. I don't speak French though. It could mean slug, too!

I've always loved coyotes. BTW, I love roadrunners, too. We have a passel load of both where I live. I've got the bravest roadrunner, he likes to admire his reflection in our glass patio window....with my German Sheperd and Blue Heeler lying right there watching him. He seems quite taken with himself. It is funny, because my two housecats will sit on the window sill and chatter at him. I guess I ought to give him a name! Maybe El Jefe (the boss en espanol)

No, ever since I started nursing school I haven't done anything. I do have photographs. I guess I could upload them to my webshots site. I've made some really neat stuff. It is amazing that we keep our bikes in my studio, and have not once gotten a flat from glass!

Funny thing is that lately I've been wishing I just stuck with being an artist, biking, working in my garden and yard rather than nursing. I think I must have lost my mind to have traded in such a tranquil lifestyle for one of high stress.
