for everyone who has been with me on this i wanted you all to know she is going through another round of test in the next week to try and find out what is wrong with our little one. She has gained 2 pounds since christmas so that is good. But she is not getting better like she should. They are doing an ultrasound on her belly this morning. And next tuesday she is being put under so they can take a thyroid sample and a live biopsy. Let's all cross our finger's and say our prayer's (to whome ever you pray to) That we get some answer's this time.
Thank you all and I will update you on how the tests go.
For those of you who don't know what I am talking about. Lorelei is my 3 year old neice who has some rare desease that started back at christmas. She has lost all her body fat and has an enlarged liver and spleen. They have run several test as well as several exploratory operations with no answer's. This is my sister's little girl.
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I will definitely keep her in my prayers!
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power, of love and of self discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7
Lore did very good this morning with her ultra sound. But when my sister woke her up really early and they got in the car she thought they were coming to my house. They always drive up here early in the morning when it is still dark out. No traffic through LA at that time.
So we won't know results on that test till monday we think. And then her operation for the biopsies (spelling) is early tuesday.
Thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts! it means a lot to have good mental power's going her way. They really need them.

Poor kiddo! Thanks for keeping us up to date, and please let us know if there's anything we can do to cheer her

Most days in life don't stand out, But life's about those days that will...
you know just keeping positive thoughts going and stregnth seems to be the best we can do. Actually I am going to do donations for her at some point. She loves art. I mean REALLY likes it. And there is a class she can take at Gimboree (spelling) for I believe $90.00. My sister can't afford to take her anymore to these classes. Their med bills are huge and they are upside down on their mortgage. We have already given so much to both sides of our family. If anyone would like to donate to her being able to take these art classes I would be happy to set it up. If I get even 6 people to donate $10.00 that would be great and I would do the rest.
Our other young neice who was diagnosed with JV huntingtons is doing a walk for her desease. We just donated to that as well. At least we know what she has.
Thanks again everyone really the strength we get from any positive thoughts and wishes helps so much.
