41 miles at 41 years old. I'm Baaaackkk!

After lots of months off a bike and lots of rehab, pills, and healing, I am back on the bike, well, trike, technically . I am slowly getting going again, usually a couple miles a day, but have finally hit the 41 mile mark. It is weird, but the only time I am not aware of pain is when I am on the recumbent catrike with the wind in my face and cars whizzing by (sometimes a little close considering the last year and my evil car encounters).
It is like breathing again after holding my breath for a really long time. I wear my bike necklace from Silver everyday and have since the day it arrived as a reminder of all of you that encouraged me to take care of myself and to never quit. Thank goodness the last 12 months are over. Life is getting good again. I am more thankful for you team estrogen members for all of your support, cards, and gifts than you will ever know. I'm BACK!!!!

Congrats invsblwmn for getting back out there. 41 miles on a trike is quite a feat for all you have been through. I am so glad you are once again enjoying the freedom of riding...
