Congratulations! Don't sell you accomplishments short, even those of us who often do 70 miles in a day remember what it was like to put the numbers together and see the first 70 mile week. A personal best is always something to be proud of!![]()

Hey everyone - I started keeping a cycling journal when we started training in August - slow start, the entire month of August we only managed 67.51 miles - alot of that we were in between adjustments to our bikes and working around our work schedules, etc. But we took this past week off and vowed to ride just about every single day and we did and our total when I added it up last night came to 70.30 miles! I know some of you routinely ride that and more each week, but we felt pretty good about it. Yesterday’s ride (20 miles) was along the coast on the Pinellas Trail and we rode into a headwind most of the way up and had to conquer a very steep crossover bridge. DH walked his bike up on the return trip, but I managed to crank up both sides of that bridge each way - the view from the top was worth it - beautiful sunset on the Gulf of Mexico! Just wanted to share our joy!

August was a wash out for us too. I think it's really nice to see your mileage for the beginning of September. Congratulations!
