Random evil thoughts for the day

A friend of mine and I were out to lunch today. Right in front of the restaurant there was parked a yellow-green Lotus. The color was so bright it was hard to look at. My only thought was that I wished I could put a flyer on the window that said, "Compensating for a small male member with an expensive automobile? We can help. Call 555-2848 for a free sample of our new male enhancer."

I should make up a few of those. There are way too many sports cars and Hummers around here...

    So this begs the question.....

What would the bike equivalent be?

....and is there one for men and one for women?

I think I saw one last weekend. A buddy showed me a project in his shop: a Tarmac SL2 being built up with the yet-unreleased 09 Campagnolo Super Record. The cassette was the cheapest thing on it, with a price tag of..... $480. The whole bike was shod with the new Hyperon2 wheelset and would have a sticker of well over 13k.

I can imagine the sort who can't wait to buy it

EDIT: Of course, a Tarmac might not be Euro enough... might have to look to the 'Nago sect

Oh no, I didn't know there was a quota!

Um, does anyone outside of Northern CA want to buy a very nice used Porsche 911? I've heard that it can compensate for a small member, but I can't vouch for that.
I'll get back on the bike soon, I promise!

A person who has a tendency to hurt my feelings in a way that seems intentional told me their computer crashed and they had to shell out a large sum to replace it.... I thought it was karma and smiled when they walked away.

in regard to expensive things, not bikes or cars, a person can buy a flute, yes, a flute, that has a layer of silver for sound projection, and a layer of gold for warmth of sound. It is made by an American flute maker and sells for nearly $30,000. Yes I got the zero's right. Maybe I'll just sell my house and car and all my personal posessions and buy one and sit out on the street playing it with the case open for people to throw money into.

We did end up seeing the owner. Yep, male.

I think most women are more practical. There's no room in that little 2 seater for dogs, bikes, groceries, friends, etc.

As a flute player myself it sometimes comes up in conversation about how expensive flutes can be and people scoff at me when I tell them. I had the opportunity to play some of these fine instruments at a flute fair I attended a few years back. It's hard to fathom holding that much money in your hands. You sure don't want to drop it! But oh....they played so sweetly, almost effortlessly! I also got to play some alto, contra-alto, and bass flutes. Talk about cool!

I'm waiting for Mr. Silver to chime in about his Mercedes SL.

my mother drives a Miata. At her age, she figured it was time she bought a car that wasn't practical, because all her others were.

for six tanks of gas you could have bought a bike.
