My husband surprised me with a cyclocross bike last night! Apparently, he's been watching for a used one for me.
He found one that was the right size on Craig's list, had it sent to a friend's house, & spruced it up for me.

Pictures!! We want pictures!!!!!

This is the best that I can do at the moment. It's hanging upside down from the garage roof & I can't get it down to take a better picture.
The frame was custom made by an English frame maker, whose name I do not know. It was made for & ridden by a short guy in Southern Oregon. There's something about the no name frame that really appeals to me. It's got a bit of a mysterious quality to it. It's a dark midnight blue.

Nice! What a sweet husband
So, are you gonna race it? CX/kermesse season is almost upon us![]()
I haven't done any off road riding at all, so I don't know about racing. Watching cyclocross racing is a blast, though, and definitely makes me want to try riding a course. So, I think I'll probably go to the local cross clinic/classes that are offered & see what it's like.
If I thought I could be at all fast, I would love to race. But I'm not very fast. But in my mind, in spinning class, I'm racing.![]()
