A few surprises at Kingdom Trails, VT

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Just returned from four days riding at Kingdom Trails in East Burke, VT. For more info, this thread talks about the town and trails http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=18652

    And now for the pics!

    Two very muddy Konas

Riding Poundcake, a delicious assortment of rocks, roots, twists and turns

My guy with Burke Mountain in the background. I can still smell the Pines.

A pair of tired Konas near the trailhead

    Mmm...berms...

    And mud...lots of it!

Not surprisingly, the trail named Jaw drops into a streambed

"Honey, that doesn't look like the best line..."

What's that about women always being right?

View from the balcony at our B&B

And, last, but not least. The biking was good, but this little surprise was even better!

    Congratulations!!!

When's the date? Have you set one yet?

What a fun trail to ride and I have to admit I snickered at the "Honey that doesn't look like the best line". That would be me though, kissing the dirt, lol.

Thanks, everyone! We haven't set a date yet. Just going to enjoy this for a while. But KT looks like a pretty enticing place to have a wedding!

I think we'd go crazy if it didn't! Either some mountain/road biking in Hawaii or road riding in Tuscany or France sound perfect. We won't do a bike themed wedding, but the honeymoon would have to be more bike oriented for sure.

    Best wishes to you!

I liked the photo essay and especially the ending. DH and I just rode up at KT ourselves few weeks ago. I could have done with way less mud, but it was still fun.
