Apparently this is randonneuring mileage of a top B.C. randonneur..someone that my partner's friends knows personally.

Supposedly doesn't include training and other personal mileage outside of the randonneur rides..

I don't know the world of randonneuring much..so how does this rank?

    that's a LOT of miles!

    That's 18,641 miles in a year.

If you averaged 12mph, that's 1,553 hours in the saddle.
    or 129 hours/ month
    or 32 hours each week.

If you averaged 15mph it's still 25 hours of riding each week.

Does this person have a job?

Or is his JOB to ride a bike?

That's a LOT of KMs, miles, or hours anyway you look at it.

He's semi-retired or retired, from what I heard.

So we ever get bored or don't know what to do with ourselves later.. How many TE members are retired full-time and cycle? Has it upped your mileage?
