    My new bike

NO, this isn't exactly what you are thinking. To go in my bike-centric den with my Phinney jersey, Astana poster and wire sculpture, I bid in this on ebay:

    It's 7 3/4 x 4 3/4 and functional, except it needs a chain.

Anybody know where I can get a teeny, tiny chain?

When it comes in, I will play with it and see what I have in the jewelry box. I may very well have something since I'm a packrat.

I have an identical one that a friend brought me from Germany (it's blue, though). It has a kickstand & a little tiny black band that is used for the chain. I am not at home this week or I'd take a picture.

Oh, look... I have a couple of her siblings(from ebay maybe a year ago; the blue one arrived with a broken steering tube) - just took a bad picture (Schumacher descending on the vintage TV) .

+1 on the black rubber band.

I think I need one of these in my life. So cute, and just about the only bike I can probably afford right now!

Cool! Check the size of that rubber band for me please. Would cutting into an old tube produce the right size?
