    Bike Friday Folding Rack

Since CA has gotten your attention, I have something to say!

I noticed on my ride today that two of the screws (allen head) on the corners of my Bike Friday folding rack have come off and that the others were very loose.

Just something to check before rides.

Good reminder - my Trek 520 had developed an annoying rattle. Turns out it was a loose rack. That had earlier that day carried many lbs of groceries.

FYI, could you have neglected to tighten the allen screws when you assembled the rack? In order for it to callapse you loosen them, but after installing on the bike you need to tighten them.

    Lockwashers.

Or, pick up a set of the leather washers at Velo Orange. I've got some on my fenders and rack and they work well. Plus they reduce creaks and rattles.
