    Salsa pocos

I just put Salsa pocos on my bike, and I was wondering what angle you had the bars at. Are the bottom flats of the drops perfectly horizontal? Slightly angled downward? and what angle are your shifters at?

I don't want to have to move my shifters but I will so that I can be comfortable in the drops and on the hoods.

I have Salsa Pocos on both my bikes. I keep the top of the bars (the ramps) relatively horizontal. If you try to make the bar ends horizontally level to the ground, your bars will be tilted w-a-y too down. The ends of the Pocos were intended to be angled to your grip, I believe. Incidentally, Margo of Luna Cycles who built my bike pictured here postioned the brifters on the bars and wrapped them for me- and she has a HUGE amount of experience using Salsa Poco bars (and positioning bars and brifters in general)....over 12 years building bikes for women.

See how with more traditional (non-ergo) Nitto Noodle drop bars for example, you can have the top ramps be horizontally level and still have the bars ends be relatively level as well:

You can't really do that with the ergonomic bump type Salsa Pocos.
