    WTB: Touring bike

    To disable ads, please log-in.

    Hello,

I'm looking to buy a touring bike that will fit someone who is 5'5" with an inseam of 28.5" barefoot. I'd prefer to keep my budget at $1000 or less unless the deal is just way too good to pass up!

If someone has a great deal/package, let me know. Thanks!

if i have to buy new, that's probably what i'll do...Surly LHT. but, once again, i'm chasing after great missed deals!!!!! i passed up great deals for a lightly used '07 LHT with racks and fenders for $900...and a pristine '07 Trek 520 with racks, fenders, panniers, and a computer for around $900.

so i'm hoping by placing a bunch of wanted ads, i'll find another great deal!

on a happier note, i chased after and caught a missed cyclocoss deal! i missed out on a bunch of GREAT cx bikes...but after a bit of work, i finally got myself a great deal on a cx bike and it should be here on tuesday!
