    Maybe lower prices with gas?

They just said on the new's the gas prices might be going down some. One country is going to up production and another country that has been very unstable has called for a sieze fire which means thier oil will be more available now. I hope this happen's a lot of people I know are really having a hard time. Scooter sales are up 30% in the past year. i love my scooter. It cost me all of maybe $4.00 to fill up.

Our's is back down to around $3.70 a gallon. I think the high was $3.99 around here, but not in my town.

Another take on it is that they're not going to produce as much more as had been hoped... reinforcing the idea that it's going ot get harder and harder to increase production. There are also troubles in some of the other big oil-producing countries... and of course, since Saudi Arabia is making 1.3 billion dollars each day in profits, they may be slightly less than eager to increase supply.
Alas, America's not the big deal it used to be since even if we lowered demand, China etc. are demanding more and more as they develop.
These are interesting times. Personally, I do wish it didn't get cold here in the winter... I can do without gasoline for the most part.

Threadjack- what kind of scooter do you have? How fast does is go? How far do you ride it? We want to get rid of my car get a motorcycle for DH and a scooter for me. They look fun and I have a route to work that would be 28 miles but keep me off the highway.

Almost as soon as they announced it, the commodity market speculators got busy and drove the market price back up... Speculation and the weak dollar probably have far more to do with the current prices than supply and production these days. Nobody's running out of gas just yet and the actual demand is right about the same as it was this time last year, but the market prices are way different...

I have a Yamaha Vino 50cc. It can go over 40 mph. I ride it all over my little town. i have not taken it any further them my own town yet.
My dh and I have 1 car but it is an f150 and it cost a lot to fill up . But we need it for work. I think we don't count as average though since we have one car and we don't take it to work every day like most people. But then we rent cars all the time too.
