I decided i just didn't want my feet secured to the pedals yet...I fell down too many times to be having fun........so I got these grippy Tioga Spiders from Rivendell.

I was feeling funny about having spent so much on them...but I got them on and rode 22 miles today with my tires full of air & my new pedals and it was awesome!
They are super grippy and small enough to not punch me when we're walking..
I love them. And it helped me really see all the virtues of my Aurora, how intuitive and smooth she is..and how easy it can be (climbs not hwithstanding)

Thanks for this review. I am pedal shopping for my Surly LHT that I will be getting (hopefully) next weekend.

There is that set on ebay...
If you go to the Rivendell site, they have a bunch of cool pedals....they are also carrying the Power Grips that some of our TE feet use...and they have nice explanations of each..Discipline is remembering what you want.
