    Talking Your two cents...

Whew! Another scorcher here in sunny southern cali! No riding today.

I've been a fan of this forum for some time but have only recently registered. I am actually thinking of starting a clothing line exclusively for women cyclists. I've posted a survey in the apparel section titled, "help me build a better jersey". I invite you all to go check it out and give me your two cents. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

OK, so I guess the key to riding in this is heat is to get up really, really, really early. Hmmm, not really my forte but I guess I gotta do what I gotta do.

Thanks in advance for checking out my survey!

Pelotonna, welcome and good luck on the launch of your new clothing line. I'll make sure to check out the survey later.

    I started but it's late and I can't find a tape measure.

    I'll do it tomorrow.

I can't get myself to wake up early either, and yes, it is way too hot here in SoCal. I was kind of bummed I couldn't ride today. Went to the gym instead and it was boring.

Funny thing is...I was thinking the same thing...about designing my own line of cycling clothes for women as I went to Cynergy and Helen's Cycles today in Santa Monica. There is just too much ugly stuff out there!

So much of what's out there is ugly and UNCOMFORTABLE. It's more for primping for the guys that actually wearing to ride. I will completely support any effort to make functional clothing for women.

Could somebody design a really good running bra, one with wires, (unfortunately I have to have them), no muffin - top over the edges of the bands, that really stops bounce , but doesn't feel like a body cast? I could be the test guinea pig!

They already have. We call them Title Nine Sportswear. Try this one:

I've bough quite a few bras from Title 9, and I really like most of them, but I hadn't tried that on (superwoman bra) Does it have wires? I couldn't tell from the description.

Your biceps will look most stunning in that top. Canal boys, look out!

I actually do really like a few of those Primal Wear tanks (though I'm not usually a fan of Primal Wear). Wish they had open rear pockets though, instead of zippered.

Cute, cute tank. But my tan lines! I have a white strip down the back from razor back tops, with those thin lines criss crossing - gah!!
