Wow, what a great ride!!
Planned route was "supposed" to be full two century's... one on Sat, and then again one on Sun...
but with the bad weather being predicted all weekend, we opted for the shorter route... 70 on Saturday, and then 46 on Sunday.
Saturday turned out great... see pics.
Sunday we got caught in a horrible stormBiked 40 miles in 30-50mph winds, rain that was coming at us sideways, descents with no brakes!! (brakes don't work well in rain
). Very scary... but we lived.
This is a great ride... I will definitely be back in 2009
(oh, I'm in the first pic... blue/yellow sleeveless jersey, red helmet
