I've seen a few being ridden in some small Oregon coastal towns where the rental shops carry them. They don't seem very fast but I'm guessing that is the point: lazy ride through town enjoying the the ocean breeze. Ahhhhh...
ETA: Some of the shops carry 4 seaters, too. Fun for the whole family!
