Info MySpace?

Need some help please.

I have never used MySpace, only just joined.

I want to send a message to somebody, actually somebody I do not know.......

If I use Mail Center Compose Message does this send a message direct to the person, or does it appear under their name as a comment eg?

Underneath the person's profile picture (usually on the top left) there is a box of options. You want to select "send message." This gets delivered privately like email. The "add comment" option (usually on the lower right) are for things that get posted publicly on the page. Hope that helps!

Yes, "send message" is the private one. You actually can't post a comment on someone's page unless you are "friends" with them

I like facebook more. I got wierd messages from strange people on myspace. kinda creeped me out.

Cheers everybody, that is exactly what I needed to know.

I am trying a real long shot, contacting somebody quite well known in the cylcing world, it's regarding my sponsorship, IF, it all goes to plan, I will post at a later date although I must confess to not being very optimistic.
