FS: 2007 Specialized Roubaix Expert Compact Rival - XS/49cm

    Hello,

I have a 2007 Specialized Roubaix Expert Compact Rival in size XS/49cm for sale. It is completely stock spec except I changed the original white seat for the black version and I changed the white bar tape for black bar tape. I've thrown on two bottle cages (a specialized and a bontrager) and Wellgo clip pedals.

It is in great condition! I bought it last fall and the bike has less than 300 miles on it. I'm asking for $2000 or best offer. The MSRP was $3300.

Here is the bike info from Specialized: http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkM...007&spid=22193

That is one sweet ride Very tempting but a new bike like that will not be in my budget for quite some time

One tip, you might want to check if this 49" Roubaix has the exact same (or very nearly identical) geometry to a 51" Ruby.

A lot of women are looking for the Ruby. (I have one.) One of the things that surprised me, if I recall correctly, when trying out the bikes in shops, was that the Roubaix and the Ruby are basically identical, just the 51" Ruby = 49" Roubaix, 53" Ruby = 51" Roubaix, or something like that.

The stock handlebars and saddle will be different, between the two. Ruby handlebars are narrower. Brake capilers might be too, to account for women's smaller hands; not sure.

Double-check first, but anyway, your bike might sell faster if people know they are getting basically a used Ruby...and I love how this Roubaix is RED...I would have loved a Ruby in this color scheme!!

VERY close to Ruby 51" geometry. Main difference is chainstay and wheelbase. Otherwise, pretty much identical!

It's now up on ebay...with a 'buy it now' option or just bid on it. Thanks!
