    Forte Women's Contour Saddle Question

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Anyone here use a forte women's contour saddle? I bought it the other day to replace the one that came with my bike but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. It was on sale at the bike store for about $25. It's gotta be better than the one I had especially because it has a cutout but I'm worried that it might have too much padding or might be too bulky since it seems bulkier than the one that came with the bike. Anyone have any opinions on it? Thanks!

I actually bought that saddle last week at the same price and so far I like it better than the more expensive WTB Rocket V saddle that came with my bike. Saddles of course are totally a personal opinion thing and you could hate it. Heck, I could hate it after a while but so far it is more comfortable than my last one.

The good news is that Performance has an unconditional return policy, so if you don't like it after a few rides, you can just take it back!

I have this saddle on two of my bikes. Unfortunately, it's a little too narrow for me (I now realize), having recently measured my sitbones. Mine are a couple of years older and are only about 5.5" in width in the rear; the new ones are 6.25" wide. Other than that, I found it to be quite comfortable and a great value. Hope it works out for you!
