I am not starting another thread, just wanted ya'll to know since starting the last thread about not losing any weight I have started counting my calories - almost 3 weeks now - I was at about 154, I am now at 150.5!![]()

It just kinda slid off somehow, I count all my calories during the day making sure I get in enough, and at dinner I eat but don't count, I make sure tho that I have about 500-600 left so I can eat a good dinner. I was eating meatless mostly, with lots of beans but after reading the article on protein I have added some lean meat back and eggs, I am still eating lots of beans (love beans) and even tried tofu!
One of me fav sandwiches now is hummus (homemade) with spinach and cheese in a pita. I miss peanut butter but I was eating wayyyy too much, I eat a little on my 1/2 a bagel now and then. I did find some new peanuts with a salt and lime flavor OMG, I treat myself to them a couple of times a week.
so my lesson learned, I can still have 4 girl scout cookies (thin mint) and not gain weight, as long as I count them in my daily caloriesIt is hard not to eat the whole bag tho
Also, if you like hot chocolate and thin mints, make your hot chocolate and put a thin mint into the cup and wait a minute - HEAVEN.
Thanks to everyone who gave me hope and inspiration, it workedNow I only have 5.5 more to go

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
Thanks! also I started today and my weight didn't go up!!!
