I took my bike in to the shop to have an impossibly tight bolt loosened.
when I pulled into the parking lot, James came outside and took the bike out of the van.
After he had loosened the bolt, he asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I told him yes, my bike is dusty, it needs cleaned. He wiped it down
Then he put the bike back in the van for me!

Either he has a little crush on me,was very bored or is just a nice guy.

I don't remember James from last year. Is he as cute as Brian? Hmmm, wonder if they've got any good summer '08 jerseys in stock, hmmmm...

    Sounds like a good shop!

My LBS guys always ask me if I need help getting the bike on the car. Actually I've always been mildly annoyed by this -- I'm perfectly capable of putting my bike on the rack myself thank you, how do you think I got it here? -- but I suppose it is chivalrous that they ask ... and I suppose if I were dressed inconveniently there's a possibility I'd take them up on it... hmmm...

Perhaps being dressed "conveniently" would allow one to take advantage of their chivalrousness to the utmost...

Dang, Zen, you really do have some serious guns.

I only have a couple of those tats left. I think I saw somewhere that Doc was selling them again.
