Orbea Diva - perfect fit yeah!!

I'm 5'7.5" with long legs (32" inseam) and a short torso and arms. I've always had men's frames and made them work mostly ok with shorter stems etc. The Orbea Diva 53cm is a perfect fit as spec'ed - I'm in shock!! I did my research and rode a lot of other bikes, but I bought the Diva new on Ebay without ever having ridden one. I understand my geometry stuff and took a big chance, betting that the top tube length and headtube length would be a great fit for me. I just wanted to put this out there because I'm sure there are quite a few women with similar proportions that have had the same fit problems. Also, it's hard to find a women's specific frame in a larger size.

Hey, i'm the same hight as you

One of these days --maybe when/if i graduate-- I'm going to treat myself to an awesome fast bike that fits me perfectly. Sounds like I'll be trying a Diva.

    Wow that's great

I've always heard that Orbea's WSD's were longer in the top tube than other manufacturers' WSD models (haven't checked the specs, but based this on feedback from people who've done test rides). Glad to hear that wasn't the case for you!

Thinking about buying my Girlfriend a 53 Diva....short torso - 33.5 inch inseam - 5'9"...concerned about the saddle height compared to handlebar height - don't want her to be too hunched over....What's your opinion? Do you think it may fit?

Thanks so much for your input. I've been contemplating buying an Orbea Diva for about a year and a half. Like you, I have long legs (33" inseam) and am shortwaisted, but my height is 5'7". Your post is a big help.
