    I Won a (Pink) Bike Rack! W00t!

I went to Cyclefest 2008 at a local park here in the area on Sunday despite constant drizzle and high 40's temperatures. I learned a lot, met a new person or two, and apparently won a pink Saris Bones bike rack!! I'm not sure of all the details but I know it was a Saris and that it was pink.

They left a voicemail on my office number yesterday that I just got today and haven't yet talked to anyone about it but I'm so excited! DH has already said he isn't going to drive the car if it has a pink rack which suits me just fine. We have a hitch rack on the Camry and a dinky-trunk rack from Wal-Mart on my old Sentra. Needless to say, it'll be replacing the rack from Wal-Mart on my Sentra. I've been wanting a Bones because I have a spoiler and need the clearance and now I have one and it's pink!

Hey, that's a nice rack even if it is pink (said the woman who bought a bike based on pink accent color)

Does it replace the rack I saw?

Zen, no. it doesn't replace the hitch rack on the Camry. Instead it will replace the dinky rack on my Sentra that is such a bad example of a bike rack it shouldn't even be called that.

I imagine whenever I drive that car around I'll be hard to miss.

Better yet, will there be any clashing of colors between said bike rack and the bike? Naw, just makes the bike look even better I'm sure.. Congrats on winning such a cool looking bike rack!

    Nice!

My sister bought a Saris rack last summer. It is a VERY nice rack. If I didn't already have a decent enough bike rack I would buy one of those! bikerHen

CONGRATS!!! And I repeat the key questions:
What color is the car? What color is/are the bike(s)?
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

LOL Unfortunately, the pink does not match my very blue Sentra.

    The color is like this:

And my bike is dark grey with yellow accents. I think it's safe to say I'll be hard to miss.
