Way to go! Congrats!!!I don't really have any advice because I'm signed up for my first tri this year, too. You probably can't go wrong with first timer-friendly events and those look pretty cool. I know how you feel about being excited and nervous at the same time, but I feel more excited when I think about race day. Woohoo!

I signed up for my first tri today. It is the Women's Gold Nugget. While I was at it, I also signed up for the Women's Time Trial. I did it right away this morning, before I could back out.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I hear both are great first timer events.
Any advice on either?

My motto is "start slow, get slower", not sure if you really want to follow that.
