so I bought a new saddle...

    Terry... Fly.

I swore it was a women's until I got to the counter and the sales guy said it was a man's, but whatever... I bought it anyway. The boyfriend put it on the bike and I test rode it a bit and it feels pretty good... but time will tell. I have a few weeks to check it out. I came home and googled "Terry Fly" convinced it was a women's saddle, and saw it was the DamselFly I was thinking of... but regardless, we'll see if it works.

I especially like the logo on the back of the seat that has the words "buzz off"

hopefully it is wide enough to support your sit bones, otherwise, you're going to want to "buzz off" of it.

Terry makes the Fly for the guys (or those with narrow sitbones), the Damselfly for those with less narrow sit bones, and the Butterfly for those (of us) with wider sit bones.

I don't think the width of sitbones has much to do with the width of hips. I have narrow hips, but I ride the Butterfly and it works great for me.

I hope your new saddle is great for you, chicago.
