Well, the high temperature was 35 here today and it's windy. It snowed a bit last night and there was ice all over the road this morning.
But it was OK because today we taught our annual "Basic Bike" session at our club's bike workshop. It's always fun, but I am so tired. We do four sessions of an hour and it's never enough time. There were lots of real newbies there and a lot of older people just getting into cycling.
The most fun part is showing all of my cycling clothing and safety type gear. I love telling them "You do not wear underwear with cycling shorts." Most know this, but I always see the look of shock on some faces. Then I explain why.
Tomorrow is our first group ride. There are 4 guys signed up. I will be way in the back, but that's OK, since I'm the sweep.

You can have some of ours! I did go out in the cold today (despite the overnight snow and some icing). It snowed while we rode, which was kind of neat. Took a long time to warm up though...
Trekhawk - there is still FEET of the stuff up north. We went for a snowmobile ride yesterday in Maine, and couldn't believe it. In some places there is probably 5 - 6 feet still on the ground...
DH's first race of the season is tomorrow morning. Forescast is for sun, but high temps in the 40s, and I'm sure MUCH colder when he starts at 9:30. I think I'll wear my snowsuit on the sidelines.
