    Goodbye, Cricket

We lost our sweet little maltese, Cricket, this morning. He had been in congestive heart failure for a few months, and we knew last night that it was his time. He had a vet appointment this morning, but didn't make it that long

He was my biking companion - I had a backpack carrier for him, and he used to ride with me (and hike with me). He loved the wind and the fresh air! He took more joy out of a grassy lawn than any animal I've ever seen - he would run and hop and run some more.

Little Cricket, you will be missed.

Butterflies are with Cricket as he reaches the Rainbow Bridge, and is greeted by all manner of TE creatures. Yogi and Ted will show him around and introduce him to the rest of the gang.

He knows he was loved and lived in a special home and he'll think of you often, just as you think of him.

And big hugs to you with lots of butterflies of comfort, and love.

So sorry to hear this. I went through it three weeks ago, and know what you're going through.

When you're ready, there's another dog out there who needs your love.

So Sad. He a happy puppy now though. And he got to go at home rather than some vet's office.

So sorry for your loss. His spirit will still be scampering all over the lawn. As someone else noted, how much more comforting for him to leave from home where he knew he was loved than in a vet's office.

Cricket will be romping in the nice grass at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for you to come give him another bike ride. It's always hard to loose a fur baby.

Yes, but we always seem to take on another knowing full well that we will outlive them.
Animals give us a love no one can and Cricket sounds like he was especially special
