    Favorite Podcasts???

If you listen to podcasts on your I-Pod, which is your favorite??? I have become a podcast junkie. My DH even gave me a docking station so that I would take my ear buds out every now and again. I already have the FRED CAST loaded and although I am a very lapse RC I enjoy listening to Father Roderick on The Daily Breakfast. Since the writers strike I have given up on t.v. and I don't think I will be going back!!

Fitness Rocks (the science of fitness - diet, exercise etc)

    Phedippidations (running, very funny)

    Those two so far.

I also LOVE CBC's The Vinyl Cafe but it has nothing to do with fitness or biking.

I like the Vinyl Cafe books, but his voice just hits me wrong.

    Another Fredcast fan here.

for those interested you can find it at http://www.thefredcast.com it is a cycling podcast with a (in my opinon) good mix of pro cycling news, advocacy news and product reviews.

I also like competitor radio http://www.competitorradio.com which does extended interviews with endurance athletes. The latest (which I haven't listend to yet) is with Tyler Hamilton

I only occassionally listen to it, but since the guy who does it is an instructor at my gym I'll put in a plug for Ironman Talks http://www.ironmantalk.com/Podcast.htmlfor those interested in triathlon

Outside of sports, I am really interested in the American elections so have subscrbed to political podcasts from CNN, the Washington Post, the New York Times and NPR

I also enjoy the BBC's "In our Time" which is a panel discussion on 'ideas' which covers matters as diverse as King Lear, the Statue of Liberty, plate techtonics or the multiversehttp://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/inourtime/

I love house music, although I've never heard of this podcast. I'll have to check it out. Another tech/house/minimal podcast that I like to listen to it Radio 580 with Dennis Ruyer (might be Netherlands based, but is in English). He has the worlds top DJ's (such as Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Deep Dish etc) put together a mix session. Dennis Ruyer also plays tracks and the greatest part is that the name of the track pops up. Very helpful if you're interested in purchasing music. Beatport's podcast is fun, too.

    So my faves are:
    Radio 580: Dennis Ruyer
    Beatport
    Paste Magazine

I haven't really explored much of the podcast world so I look forward to reading all of your personal favorites and possibly checking them out
