Hi everyone! I love spring! I just got new specialized womens carbon pro shoes, switched from spd to looks, and just went out for a ride and practiced clipping in and out of the looks. I love them! The weather was beautiful, and (believe it or not), birds were singing! My bike felt so good! YIPPEE!

You obviously do not live anywhere near me!

My 1.5 mile walk to campus was in near white-out conditions from a freak hail storm. Tiny little balls of snow and ice were hitting me so hard it sounded like applause. I had an accumulation of ice on me by the time I got inside. Of course the storm ended as soon as I walked through the doors.

Ginny, sounds like you are having a great day! I'm glad you are happy about switching to the Looks. I really want new cycling shoes...

Breezy... hmmm... Central New York, campus, and hail storms. Reminds me of my three years at Cornell. Beautiful place with frightening weather! My car was totalled by a snowplow there in mid-March.

I am 1 hr SE of Cornell...those roads are not fun in bad weather.

Ginny, where do you live? I have my bags packed to move there.

I'm in Fort Collins, CO. It was COLD but not so snowy here this winter, and this has been such a super pleasant week. I am from South Orange County, Ca, and I think spring is much sweeter when you have to suffer through uber cold winters

Sounds like you had a GREAT time. I bet you had a huge smile on your face. Spring is definitely here now and I just love hearing the birds tweet first thing in the morning.
