Look how happy they are!! The pictures of the residents smiling and laughing made my day.![]()
That is great! You gotta love the Wii ... I have one and play it quite a bit. Guitar Hero will suck you in and life as you know it will be gone. LOL

The Wii is truly the most innovative system to come along in a long time. It promotes inclusion rather than exclusion. I love it!
I tell you one thing....those seniors need a bigger TV! I can barely see to read the words on small screens at my age!
Good on your mom!

I finally got a Wii last week and I love it! Even my mom, who spent most of my childhood yelling at me to stop playing video games, gave it a try and enjoyed it. There have been quite a few stories of Wii's being put in nursing homes and the good results that have come from it. There are a few weight-loss stories, too. Anyone else wear their HRM while boxing?![]()

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside thoroughly used-up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!!"
What a great article, Mr. Silver! I have a Wii as well and it really is a great piece of equipment and so fun. Tons of fun when you get a group like that. I love that the people at the senior home are really having fun with it. Prayers and positive thoughts for your mother as well.
