As a resident of a city ranked way surprisingly high, I wouldn't be puting a lot of faith in that...all based on canned data. I mean really, "access to gourmet ingredients from chain stores"? So if you have a lot of Trader Joe's you rank higher than, say, having several high-end local grocery chains?
I read through the data for Milwaukee and was duly unimpressed by their statistics. As a vegetarian foodie who travels, I can attest that Milwaukee is not the home of haute cuisine unless it comes laden with large amounts of meat. There is a reason the beer belly is a fashion statement here.
Of course we do have a significant urban park system and farmer's markets in every nook and corner of the metro area. So, some of the points are valid.
I have lived in the DC suburbs, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, and Madison, and frankly, Madison is by FAR the most healthy city. I think Philly and Baltimore are great places, don't get me wrong, but I think they were both on the recent "fattest cities" list too.
Sadly, looks like a significant number of the criteria were based on good (i.e. tasty) food, and not the available of healthful options. They did look at the healthy stuff - there's just a mix of other stuff too.

Ohhhhhhhh forget the cheese steak! There is a market there in a place called the reading terminal that is sooooo to die for. Every type of food you can think of you cam get there! There are several fish monger;s, butchers, spice terminal, bakery's (both amish and italian) candy booths, coffee booths. I could live inside this place and never eat the same food twice! it is truely amazing and highly recommended. And yes it is the reading terminal from the Monoply board!
Here are some photo's from the market. Yes I walked through last year when we were working there and took picutres.
They have a stand in there that makes the freshest turky sandwiches. It taste like thanksgiving!

Memphis got kicked off of the top ten "least healthy" list for making the other nine cities look too good...
Ummm Andrea, my recollection when we lived there was that Memphis made two top 10 lists:
- Top 10 for obesity rates
- Top 10 for humidity.
Funny, we still absolutely loved it there!
Minneapolis? Milwaukee? No city that gets more than a foot of snow belongs on any top 10 list!
