Ahh ... I wish I could be as fortunate as you. 1/2 inch of ice so far and another 1/2 inch or more on the way. I don't mind riding in the cold but the ice makes it a *little* tricky.![]()

Yay I got to ride today (29miles). It was a nice warm 50 degrees and DRY. I'm so excited to actually post that I got to spin my wheels. Let's hope I can keep it up this week.

I got in my 6-mile commute at four whole degrees with a dusting of snow. Actually, had I gotten out early as I'd wanted to, I'd have gotten in an extra mile or so - maybe tomorrow. A bit envious of 50 degrees here... but I'll take this over ice any day, even with studded tyres. here's hoping spring comes along soon!
This weekend was SO beautiful - if I had been in one piece, it would have been great for a ride. As it was, our TNT Death Ride team had its first ride on Saturday (DH and i are the head coaches). I know it's different when you're watching riders instead of actually riding - but those guys looked STRONG. And I don't mean just the 6'4" 2% bodyfat (on a heavy day) cyclocross racer boy (who's DH's challenge, not mine). Everyone just looked strong.
Which provided great motivation for me to get my sorry broken shouldered body onto the trainer this morning for Suffer-o-Rama.
