It's a great article, although I warn you that at times - it is tough to read. However, I found great inspiration in the dogs it writes about. They are such teachehttp://forums.teamestrogen.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=73

Also, the article inspired me to research the organization mentioned:

Looks like a great place to donate to, or better yet - be a sponsor to an animal of your choice. And, if you're near - what a great place to adopt an animal from (cats, dogs, horses, birds...even ducks!)

Best Friends looks like a very interesting place. I've been watching it ("Dogtown") on the National Geographic channel. The burial service they did for a dog that had to be euthanized was really beautiful--especially with the windchimes sounding softly. When one of the volunteers mentioned that the when the windchimes sound it was the spirit of the deceased animal letting the humans know it was ok...I lost it. I'm such a sap about these things.
I'm a Dog on a Mission! The human & I are doing Woofstock again this year!
