Long time lurker, first time poster! If anyone's in the market for a new (to you) bike, my husband posted my Litespeed Bella on eBay. No reserve, currently $455. Hopefully a TE'r will get it!

    That's a sweet bike. Here's the link.

I put this on my watch list too.

So help me out here. I'm geometry challenged. My Felt road bike, which is too big for me, has seat tube angle of 74.5 deg and ht angle of 73 deg.

This Bella has a st angle of 74 and an ht angle of 72.5.

Does this mean the Bella is slacker, and would I notice this significantly?

I think otherwise the Bella would be a better fit, 52.5 cm tt vs 54.5 on my 54cm Felt, and 12 cm headtube vs 11 on my Felt. (I'm 5'6". longish torso). With a 0 deg rise stem, the geo is pretty aggressive and even though I have very flexible hamstrings, my lower back starts barking at me after 40 miles or so.

    Thanks!

    Ldogdotcom here...

The Bella is slacker, but the difference you'd feel would be the shorter top tube length coupled with the less aggressive geometry. If your bike is too big, then chances are the longer (than it should be) top tube is only exacerbated by the more aggressive geometry. FWIW, my wife is 5'6" also.

Don't worry CA_in_NC, she's on a Blue RC4 right now. It's more aggressive than the Bella, but that's what she's been on and what she's comfortable with. Cest la vie!
